The day started Monday for Hollister Police Officers with a rescue of some puppies.
According to the post on the Hollister Police Department Facebook page, officers responded to a call for 10 puppies that were reported abandoned along a busy street. The officers took the puppies to the Taney County Animal Control and will be available for adoption.
The release encourages those interested in adopting one or more of the puppies contact Taney County Animal Control. No identification has been made on who abandoned the puppies on the street.
