A man from Kansas City dies in a bicycle vs. car crash near Branson early Wednesday morning.
According to the report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 68-year-old male was riding a bike northbound on Highway 65 around 4:30 am when it was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by a 74-year-old woman from Branson. The man, not identified in the crash report, was pronounced dead at the scene by Taney County Coroner Tony Mullen.
This is the 45th fatality in traffic crashes worked by Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol in 2025.
