The annual fundraiser for an area non-profit organization raised thousands of dollars to help area kids.
Several hundred people attended the Thanks4giving Gala at the Branson Convention Center Thursday which featured updates on club activities in Branson, Crane, Forsyth, and Reeds Spring as well as Live Auction which raised nearly $20,000 for the club.
Several of the club members performed prior to the keynote speech given by ABC News Correspondent John Quinones, who talked about his year's being a part of the Boys and Girls Club in San Antonio and how it encouraged him to pursue his career in journalism despite opposition from others who thought his Mexican-American Heritage and accent would work against him.
A video feature from the Thursday event can be seen on the Ozarks First Website.
