A Branson man is facing charges after a shooting incident this week.
According to the probable cause affidavit filed by the Taney County Sheriff’s Office, Daniel Petri called Sheriff’s Dispatch on Tuesday claiming several individuals had broken into his house and was threating his family. Shots could be heard as Petri was on the phone.
Branson Police responded to the scene and found no evidence of anyone else at the home, but shots were fired in their direction from where Petri was located. Officers eventually took him into custody.
The statement goes on to say that Petri has made several calls to law enforcement this year about people in his home that no one could see.
Petri is currently being held without bond in the Taney County Jail though a Bond Reduction Hearing is scheduled for next week.
