A fire damages a building Friday afternoon.
The release below is from the Branson Professional Firefighters Local 152:
At 15:27 yesterday afternoon, Branson Firefighters responded to a report of a building fire in the area of Angler’s Point in Fall Creek Resort. A second alarm was struck which brought mutual aid companies. First arriving units found active fire on the exterior of the building, threatening to extend into the attic space. Firefighters made an aggressive attack and were able to contain the fire to the exterior of the building with some smoke and water damage to the interior. 3 of the 4 units were unoccupied at the time of the fire. The one person that was home was able to be evacuated prior to arrival. Crews operated on scene for approximately 2 hours.
TCAD provided EMS standby for duration of the incident. No injuries to firefighters or civilians were reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
