The Christian County Library is now under new direction after the Board of Trustees president stepped down last night.
Within the first few minutes of the meeting, board president Allyson Tuckness resigned from the position, saying it was the best decision for her and her family after ongoing disagreements with other board members.
“I was starting to get verbally attacked in meetings. It was affecting my mental health, time away from my family,” Tuckness said.
Tuckness read her letter of resignation to the board and community members at Tuesday night’s Board of Trustees meeting for the Christian County Library.
