Citizen Tip Leads to Arrest of Wanted Fugitive

A man wanted by Stone County Authorities is apprehended attempting to sell stolen property to undercover officers.

According to the release from the Stone County Sheriff's office, a citizen sent a tip about the whereabouts of Elijah Raczak who was wanted on several charges including Armed Criminal Action, Domestic Assault, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. 

The information received indicated that Raczak was attempting to sell a stolen kayak setting up the undercover officers from meeting with Raczak and taking him into custody. 

Raczak is in the Stone County Jail on a $75,000 Bond.
