Several area firefighters respond to a blaze at a home in Stone County on Halloween.
According to a post from the Southern Stone County Fire Protection District, the fire was at a residence on Highway 413 just before 12:30 Tuesday afternoon. Firefighters arriving at the scene observed heavy smoke and eventually a second alarm was ordered which involved units from Aurora, Billings, Crane, and Highlandville.
No injuries were reported in the fire. The occupants of the residence were able to evacuate safely according to the post.
