A former city official in Merriam Woods is admitting her guilt in the stealing of city funds.
According to the Branson Tri-Lakes News, former City Clerk Breanna Gamble pleads guilty in federal court Thursday to one count of wire fraud. Gamble admits to using more than $68,000 in city funds for personal purchases between October of 2018 and August of 2019.
Gamble could be sentenced up to 20 years in federal prison for her conviction.
