Several areas of the Lakes Region will see highway closures next week according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.
On Tuesday and Wednesday the 28th and 29th, the bridges between Branson and Hollister over Lake Taneycomo will be closed for one day each for work on the bridge between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm. One bridge will be open each day for traffic to use as an alternate route.
Meanwhile, sections of Highway 76 in northeastern Taney County will also be closed next Tuesday and Wednesday. MODOT says pipe replacement work will take place on 76 north of Taneyville between Essary Road and Hires Road as well as north of Brownbranch at Dalton Road. The work will take place between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm each day.
Message boards are up to alert drivers of the upcoming closures.
