Another step in the process to impeach Forsyth Mayor Julie Aubuchon is completed this week.
During Monday’s meeting of the Forsyth Board of Aldermen, presided by President of the Board Dennis Winzenried in Aubuchon’s absence, passed the ordinance required to begin the process that has been going for several months.
Aubuchon is facing charges of misconduct in several instances since taking office in April of last year. The official Articles of Impeachment were approved at a Special Meeting last week.
Currently, the Impeachment Hearing is scheduled for Forsyth City Hall on Thursday May 28.
A complete recap of the April 16 meeting can be found on the Branson Tri-Lakes News Website.
