Johnny Morris no longer richest Missourian on Forbes list of wealth

He’s still on the list, but he’s no longer at the top of the list.

Forbes has released their 2025 list of the Richest People in the United States and Bass Pro Shops founder and Ozarks native Johnny Morris fell from No. 1 to No. 2 on the list of richest Missourians because of an amazing jump from a St. Louis based tech mogul.

The magazine says Morris has an estimated net worth of $9.4 billion as of April 25, 2025, a slight dip from the $9.5 billion in 2024, which marked the high water mark of Morris’ estimated wealth to date.
