A convenience store change with more than 400 locations including one in the Lakes Region will soon be under new management.
In a joint release issued on Friday, it was announced that Maverik – Adventure’s First Stop, together with its parent company, FJ Management, acquired the Kum & Go, a convenience store chain with locations across 13 states owned by the Krause Group. Exact terms of the acquisition were not disclosed in the release.
Kum & Go's parent company is based in Iowa where the majority of their stores are located but there are several other locations in the Midwest including one in Hollister and over a dozen locations in the metro Springfield area.
