The southbound lane of Roark Valley Road between Shepherd of the Hills Expressway and Gretna Road will be closed starting at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday to repair a damaged sidewalk.
According to a release from the city, drivers traveling southbound will be redirected into the center turn lane for the duration of the work which is expected to take about eight hours to complete. Signage will be in place to detour traffic around the road closure and to meet traffic safety standards. Motorists are asked to be aware of signage, traffic cones and work crews in the marked Work Zone. This work is weather dependent.
