A man that had been reported missing was located and an arrest made after attending a Branson Show.
According to the report in the Branson Tri-Lakes News, Kevin Ray Duke, 19, had been the subject of a missing person alert by the Taney County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday. The alert stated Duke was last seen on Tuesday walking away from his home on Hampton Road in Taney County, was autistic, and required medication.
Duke was located Wednesday in the audience at the Clay Cooper Theater and attempted to contact Colton Cooper who attended Branson High School with Duke. Law enforcement was alerted and officers from the Branson Police Department and Taney County Sheriff’s Office came to the theater and eventually arrested a man.
Sheriff Brad Daniels tells the Branson Tri-Lakes News the man arrested was 67-year-old Mark Wedlock.
