The Hollister Schools Foundation recently donated a book vending machine to the Hollister Early Childhood Center (ECC) in hopes of sparking excitement and motivation among the district’s youngest learners.
This new addition marks the second book vending machine on Hollister School District property. The first book vending machine was placed in the Hollister Elementary School. According to the district, the machines are designed to promote literacy and reward positive behavior by allowing students to “purchase” books with special tokens earned during school hours through effort, character and achievement.
