Nixa man accused of sexual misconduct with juvenile

NIXA, Mo. — A man is facing charges after being accused of sexual misconduct in Christian County.

According to online court dockets, David Rasmussen, born 1960, of Nixa, is charged with statutory sodomy – person less than 12 years old and first-degree harassment.

Dockets filed reports of multiple incidents between 2020 and 2025 with a juvenile victim and Rasmussen. The child indicates having multiple baths with Rasmussen during this time.
