One person is dead after an electric bike accident in Branson.
Branson Police Lt. E.J. Jones told Branson Tri-Lakes News the victim was riding his bike on Green Mountain Drive behind Wal-Mart on Saturday night when the accident took place.
“He lost control of the bike and we believe the bike had a mechanical failure,” Jones said. “He couldn’t get it stopped. He struck the curb and was ejected off the bike. He was not wearing a helmet. His head hit a hard object, like a rock or the road, and it caused severe head trauma. He was taken to Cox Branson where he was pronounced dead.”
