One Person Dead, Another Arrested in Taney County Shooting

The Taney County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that leaves one person dead and another in custody.

The Taney County Sheriff's Office tells the Branson Tri-Lakes News that the incident occurred Friday morning and was reported as an argument between two individuals which reportedly escalated to a shooting while deputies were on the way. 

According to several media reports the incident appears to have taken place in a neighborhood between Forsyth and Rockaway Beach. 

No names have been released in the shooting incident as the investigation continues by the Taney County Sheriff's Office.
