The start of the High School Football Season is tonight.
Harrison is at Branson in the third Pella Windows and Door Border Battle. Each team has won the trophy once, Branson two years ago in a game that took two days to complete because of weather and Harrison last year on their home field.
Coverage today begins with the Tailgate Show brought to you by Capaldi’s One Stop Heating and Cooling and Ken Bowling Construction around 3:30 followed by game coverage around 6:30. The Harrison Broadcast will air on New Country 1029 also starting around 6:30. Both games can also be heard online at MOARK Sports.
As a part of the ceremonies tonight, former longtime Branson Coach and Superintendent John Earl Chase will be inducted onto the Branson Wall of Honor joining former Head Football Coach Steve Hancock.
Other games tonight include another border battle, this one in Arkansas as Berryville will host Hollister while Forsyth opens at home against Ava and Reeds Spring hits the road to Springfield for a match-up with Parkview.
