While much of the Lakes Region will remain dry until Friday, a frontal boundary in the region will bring the chance of some thunderstorms into the area this evening and overnight.
The National Weather Service has the Lakes Region at a Slight risk for severe thunderstorms with large hail the primary threat. Forecasters indicate that the greatest chance for severe weather would be late tonight and overnight before rain moves out on Thursday.
The Memorial Day Weekend is forecast to be rainy with showers and thunderstorms beginning Friday evening and continuing through the weekend.
