An area school district will have a contested race for Board of Education positions in April while another will not.
The Forsyth School District will have three people vying for two spots on the board during the upcoming Missouri Municipal Election. One incumbent, Ben Roberts, is running to return to the board while two other people, Nina Henson and Dawn Muller, will be running for a seat.
Meanwhile in the Hollister School District, two current board members filed for the two available seats so there will be no election in April. Nic Nelson and Josh Trinkle will return to the board for another three-year-term.
The 2025 Missouri General Municipal Election will take place on April 8.
