MISSOURI — Safety is almost always on the mind of Americans, whether it’s physical safety, financial safety, road safety and more. Now, a new study released by WalletHub reveals which areas of the country are the safest or least safe for 2025.
WalletHub ranked the overall safety of all 50 states based on 52 key indicators, such as unemployment rate, assaults per capita and total loss amount from climate disasters per capita, and grouped them into five different categories: personal & residential safety, financial safety, road safety, workplace safety and emergency preparedness.
Unfortunately for Missouri, WalletHub ranked the state as the 10th most unsafe state in America, with a total safety score of 45.22.
