Table Rock Scenic Overlook Reopens

A major point of interest to residents and visitors of the Lakes Region is has reopened to the public.

The Dedication of the refurbished Table Rock Scenic Overlook on Historic Highway 165 took place Thursday morning.

According to a press release, Taney County and City of Hollister teamed up with other organizations to refurbish the site that has a view of the Table Rock Dam as well as Lake Taneycomo and the surrounding area.

The revitalized overlook has improved ADA accessibility as well as pedestrian and vehicular safety. A new fence was installed as well at the site.
