The Taney County Sheriff's Office executed a successful drug bust, according to a Facebook post by the office.

Significant Narcotics Seizure in Taney County ![]()
On Monday, June 30th, Taney County Deputies and Narcotics Detectives conducted a coordinated traffic stop in the Branson area that resulted in the seizure of approximately 10.5 pounds of methamphetamine.
During the stop, TCSO K9 Nico alerted to the presence of illegal substances. A search of the vehicle confirmed that the driver was transporting the narcotics. The driver was arrested and is currently being held at the Taney County Jail.
This investigation was conducted in collaboration with the COMET Drug Task Force, highlighting the ongoing commitment to keep dangerous drugs out of our community.
We remind everyone that all parties involved are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
