A man from Texas is dead after his motorcycle crashes in southeastern Taney County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred Monday afternoon when the motorcycle driven by 52-year-old Robert Moyer went off of Highway 160 near Protem and struck a tree. Moyer was pronounced dead at the scene by Taney County Coroner Tony Mullen.
This is the 110th fatality in traffic accidents worked by Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol in 2022.
