An area athlete has signed a Letter of Intent to continue his education and athletic career .
Hollister High School senior Michael Schultz signed his Letter of Intent for his continuing education and football career at the United States Merchant Marines Academy in Kings Point, New York.
USMMA competes in the NCAA Division III.
Schultz's parents Kathy and Stan Schultz joined him at the signing ceremony Monday morning at Hollister High School.
