Janet Sue Smith February 1, 1943 - April 9, 2022

Janet Sue Smith of Eureka Springs, Arkansas was born February 1, 1943, in Prague, Oklahoma to Woodrow and Alta (Wilson) Smith. Janet passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022, in Eureka Springs at the age of 79.

Janet received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas. She worked in hotel management and computer systems for the Hilton Corporation until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening, making pies and creating beautiful embroidered quilts for her six great-great nieces and nephews.

Janet is survived by her sister Maxine (Smith) St. Cyr, and niece Deborah St. Cyr Davis (Ken) of Eureka Springs, Arkansas. She is also survived by one great niece, Adrienne Davis Lorimer (Bobby) and one great nephew, Dustin St. Cyr Davis (Ryan), and six much loved great-great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law, Lester St. Cyr.

A memorial service at Welty Cemetery will be scheduled at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Good Shepherd Humane Society, 6486 Hwy 62 E, Eureka Springs, AR 72632. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
