Thomas Doran Dean, 83, a resident of Harrison
Thomas Doran Dean, 83, a resident of Harrison, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home.
He was born May 19, 1938, at Snowball to Lunce and Nora Taylor Dean. He was a former member of the Arkansas National Guard, and a member of the Bellefonte Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, yard sales, word puzzles, bluegrass music, and his beloved pets, Comehere, Boots, and Miss Kitty. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty Ross Moorehouse Dean; and a grandson, Cody Allen Hall.
Survivors include a special lady, Betty Rorie of Harrison; a son, Ross (Ann) Dean of Harrison; two daughters, Cherie Dean of Harrison, Sheila (Shane) Hall-Collins of Western Grove; grandchildren, Autumn (Matt) Adams, Tara Dean, Kasie (Ray) Brenson, and Andrew (Samantha) Milligan; great-grandchildren, Asher, Henry, Andie, Olivia, and Audrey; a sister-in-law, Wanda Moorehouse; many nieces and nephews; the Rorie and Payton Families; and other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 10, 2022, at Bellefonte Cemetery with Mr. Jim Payton officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Holt Memorial Chapel.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, at the funeral home.
