Barbara Sue Barron
Barbara Sue Barron was born September 10, 1937 in Branson to Hallard and Cordelia (Meadows) Weatherman. She grew up in Branson and graduated from Branson High School, where she proudly served as band majorette.
As a young woman, she married Ronald J. Hulland. His service in the United States Air Force took them to California where they began their family and worked alongside each other at the drive-in. Later Barbara returned to Branson, devoting herself to raising her children and working diligently to provide for them. Throughout her life she held a variety of jobs, including working in construction, the restaurant business and tourism at 76 Mall and Ride the Ducks. In later years, she married Raymond Barron, sharing many years of companionship with him.
In her leisure time, Barbara enjoyed bowling and was very skilled at the sport. She also enjoyed all kinds of card games, putting together puzzles and watching westerns, especially those starring John Wayne.
Above all, Barbara loved Jesus and her family. She was especially proud of her grandchildren who brought her great happiness.
Barbara entered into Heaven from her home in Kirbyville on Monday, August 31, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hallard and Cordelia Weatherman and one granddaughter, Amanda Hulland.
A loving mother, grandmother and sister, she is survived by her children, Johnny Hulland (Rhonda) of Branson, Gala Robison (Dave) of Purdy and Grant Hulland (Darla) of Kirbyville; her sister, Fay Davidson (Larry) of Branson; grandchildren, Jacob Whittington, Seth Whittington, Brandon Whittington, Tiffany Thurman, Melea Arnold, Candace Maxwell, Roy Schrack, James Schrack, Kala Barron, Christopher Hulland and Abigail McGeough; 29 great-grandchildren with one on the way; and one niece, Mary Davidson.
Visitation will be Thursday evening, September 3, 2026, from 5:30 -7:00 pm in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson. Graveside services will be Friday morning, September 4, 2026, at 10:00 am in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson with Pastor Bruce Haynes officiating.
