Bonnie Jean Pinet, passed away on April 13, 2026, at her home in Kirbyville, Missouri, at the age of 90.
She was born on February 24, 1936, in Texarkana, Arkansas, to Ed and Carolyn Durham, both of whom preceded her in death. Bonnie graduated from Will Rogers High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1954.
She met William T. "Bill" Pinet, Jr. while working at McDonnell Douglas in Tulsa and they married on May 15, 1957.
They moved back to Taney County and ran the Western Auto store in Branson from 1969 until 1974. Later, she devoted over 20 years of service as a bookkeeper at College of the Ozarks, where she was respected for her careful attention to detail and her steadfast commitment to doing her work well.
Bonnie enjoyed collecting antiques and stained glass pieces. She was also a faithful member of the Community Presbyterian Church in Forsyth.
Above all, Bonnie was a devoted wife, mother, and caregiver. Bonnie lovingly cared for Bill before his passing in 2007.
She is survived by her son, William T. Pinet, III of Kirbyville, Missouri, who was a source of pride and joy in her life. Her memory will be cherished by her son and by all who were blessed to know her.
Graveside services will be Friday, April 17, 2026 at 2:00 pm in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson under the care of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.
