Cecil L Foley Jr. was born on August 14, 1946 in Kansas City Kansas to Erma Miller Foley and Cecil L Foley.
Cecil married the love of his life, Joyce Elaine Reasoner, on November 6, 1966, at the First Baptist Church in Appleton City, Missouri. Together they built a life centered on faith, hard work, and family, sharing more than 53 years of marriage until Joyce's passing in 2020.
Throughout his working years, Cecil was an entrepreneur and businessman. He owned and operated a sand and gravel business in southwest Missouri, redi-mix concrete plants in Kansas City, Kansas, and later, alongside Joyce, owned and operated coffee shops in both Kansas City and Branson. Together they served countless customers, creating places where people felt welcome and at home.
While Cecil took pride in his work, his greatest pride was always his family. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grandfather. Together, he and Joyce raised two children, Angie and Rod, instilling in them the values of integrity, perseverance, and caring for others. He especially cherished time spent with his grandchildren and enjoyed watching them grow into adulthood.
Cecil was known for his strong work ethic, quiet determination, and steadfast commitment to those he loved. Through every season of life, he demonstrated resilience and dedication, providing for his family while creating lasting memories through the businesses and life he shared with Joyce.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joyce Elaine Foley; his parents; and his sister, Linda (Foley) Ferder.
He is survived by his daughter, Angie Foley of Branson, Missouri; his son, Rod Foley and wife Kimberly of Grand Island, Nebraska; grandchildren, Gabrielle, Noah, and Ethan Foley; along with many extended family members and friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him.
Cecil's greatest legacy is the family he loved so deeply. He will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to Joyce, his dedication to providing for those he loved, his entrepreneurial spirit, and the example of hard work and perseverance that he passed on to future generations.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at 3:00 pm at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, 1638 E. State Hwy 76, Branson with burial to follow at Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.
