Clinton James Watson, age 41
Clinton James Watson, age 41, sadly passed away July 28, 2026, In Springfield, Missouri. He was born on December 4, 1984, in Springfield, Missouri, overcoming odds stacked against him immediately. He was the only son of George and Angela (Punzo) Watson.
Clint spent his childhood in Pleasant Hope, Missouri. He made many memories in a small town and enjoyed spending time on the river. He graduated from PHHS in 2003.
His knowledge of machinery and mechanics provided a lifetime of work and he often helped family and friends with various needs. He learned and listened to his dad explain the inner workings of automobiles and he could recite numerous facts on makes and models of all kinds. From small engines to heavy equipment, he could fix any issue put in front of him.
He married his wife, Arlinda Lewis in June of 2019 and they have two beautiful boys together, William Wayne- nine, and Declan James- three months. He was also very proud of his only daughter, Gracie Marie Watson- 15, of Fair Grove.
He is survived by his wife, Arlinda; and children: Gracie, William, and Declan; his mother, Angela Watson; his sister, Shannon (Watson) Deckard and her husband, Jared; and two nephews, Jaxson and Joey. He is also survived by his grandmother, Teresa Punzo, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, George William Watson, and his paternal grandparents, Jim & Betty Sue Watson and maternal grandfather, James Punzo.

A memorial service is being held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday August 8, 2026, at New Beginnings Family Church, 301 W Cowden Pleasant Hope, Missouri.
