Dorothy Gail Fly, age 74, of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Saturday, July 25, 2026, in Branson, Missouri. She was born on August 8, 1951, in Antioch, California, the daughter of Russell and Lois King of Stockton, California. Dorothy married Rodney Fly in 1992.
Dorothy adored her precious poodle, Sweet Tea. She loved gardening and enjoyed finding unique plants to add to her garden. She enjoyed collecting turtles in all shapes and sizes. She loved to cook for her family, and everyone raved about her beef jerky. She also enjoyed knitting gifts for the family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Fly; her parents, Russell and Lois King; and her sister, Linda Leandro.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Wendy Bassett and husband, Harold of Tyler, Texas, and T.J. McPherson and wife, Robin of Reno, Nevada; her granddaughters, Shellbee Wynne and husband, Baker of Palestine, Texas, and Sydnee Bassett of Tyler, Texas; her sister, Janice Adams and husband, Don of Fortun, California.
