Leo Leroy Lane, age 61, of Walnut Shade
Leo Leroy Lane age 61 of Walnut Shade, Missouri passed away on Aug. 27, 2026. He entered this life on May 12th, 1965, in Chicago Illinois. Son of Wesley and Carol Lane. Leo was preceded in death by his parents and sister Terrie Lane. Leo is survived by his 4 daughters: Elizabeth Lane, Britany(Randall) Draper, Savannahs Shoaf, Jennifer Lane and his son Wesley Lane. His siblings Carol (Denny) Rasmus, Sharon (Joel) Taskonis, Tim (Laura) Lane, Louis (Brenda) Lane. He has many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Leo enjoyed simple things that made life meaningful. Good food, time with family, the outdoors, and adventures that came along the way. He loved cooking on the grill and sharing meals with the people he loved. Family was especially important to him. Some of his happiest moments were spent surrounded by those closest to him. Leo enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling to new places. Making memories along the way. He took pride in his work in waste water management dedicating many years to a career that served his community and reflected his hardworking nature. Though he is deeply missed Leo's memory will live on through his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched. The stories shared, meals enjoyed, adventures taken and time spent together will remain treasured memories for years to come.
Goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end, they simply mean I'll miss you until we meet again.
