Marymae Racine Baker, lovingly known as "Kitty," "Mema," and "Nana," passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026, in Raleigh, North Carolina. Born on June 16, 1934, in Powersite, Missouri, Marymae lived a life filled with love, faith, and devotion that touched the hearts of all who knew her.

Marymae shared a remarkable partnership with her husband as they owned and operated Gnu Tub of Pittsburgh and Dreammaker Kitchens and Bath for 30 years. Their dedication to their craft brought them immense joy and earned them respect within their community and industry. Their hard work was recognized through several awards over the years, reflecting their commitment to excellence.

A woman of deep faith and unwavering devotion to God, Marymae was a long-standing member of the South Hills Church of the Nazarene in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania. Her spiritual journey began at a young age under the guidance of her parents, John and Rev. Almeda Brittain. She credited them for instilling in her a profound desire to grow closer to the Lord. Throughout her life, she exemplified this faith by leading Women's Ministries, teaching Sunday School to children, assisting with Vacation Bible School programs, and ensuring her family was firmly rooted in scripture. Her steadfast belief in God was evident to all who met her.

Marymae's kind heart and sweet spirit left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. She was a gifted storyteller who delighted friends with humorous tales during Sunday School classes. Her compassion extended beyond her immediate family to her church family and countless friends whose lives she enriched with love and encouragement.
