Nellie Ann Mary Wilson, age 72, of Hollister, Missouri, passed away on June 22, 2026. She entered this life on December 17, 1953, in Lake Providence, Louisiana, the daughter of John and Nellie (Sanchez) Navarro. Nellie was joined in marriage on July 14, 2001, to Tony Wilson.
Nellie had a true passion for life—especially camping, nature, and spending time outside. Whether around a campfire, on a trail, or simply enjoying a quiet moment under the open sky, she felt most at home in the outdoors.
Known for a spontaneous spirit, Nellie never hesitated to embrace the moment or turn an ordinary day into an adventure. She truly did not know a stranger and had a remarkable gift for making others feel welcome and included. Conversations came easily, laughter came often, and Nellie was frequently the life of the party.
Energetic, joyful, and full of humor, she will be remembered for a personality that lit up every room and a laugh that was impossible to forget. Nellie brought people together effortlessly and leaves behind countless memories filled with joy and connection.
She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Nellie Navarro and five brothers: Chuck McTheney, Lorenzo Navarro, Benny Navarro, Billy Navarro, and Cheyenne Navarro.
Nellie is survived by her loving husband of twenty-four years, Tony Wilson; brother, Johnny Williams; brother, Junior Navarro; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
