Virgil Muller

Virgil Muller, formerly from Melbourne, Iowa

Virgil Muller, formerly from Melbourne, Iowa, passed away at Forsyth Nursing and Rehab Center, Forsyth, Mo., on June 26, 2026, under the care of Preferred Hospice.

He was born In Marshalltown, Iowa, the son of Simon and Juanita Muller. He was 95 years old.

He was a hard-working farmer from his childhood and into his adult life

Virgil married Norma Preston in 1949 in the city of Melbourne, Iowa. He was a member of the St. Johns United Church of Christ. He was active in sports and coached many small teams.   Virgil loved to fish, hunt and trap along with his farming and raising beef cattle and hogs. They moved to Fairfield Bay, Ark., where he worked at the local golf course. Then to Forsyth, Mo. where he worked for  Tabuchi Theater in Branson parking cars until retirement,

Virgil is survived by his daughter Cindy Boston of Forsyth, Mo., his son Douglas Muller of Minnetrista, Minn.,  three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Donald Muller., and wife Norma in 2006.

Thanks to all those who cared and lovingly took care of him.

Burial will be held later in the Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson, Mo.  under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth, Mo
