William Bert Lockhart, age 68, of Reeds Spring, Missouri, passed away on June 16, 2026. He entered this life on November 25, 1957, in Panama City, Florida to Robert and Nancy (Hall) Lockhart. He was Preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Susan Lockhart.
William served in the Army for four years, an experience that reflected his sense of duty, discipline, and commitment. His time in service was an important part of his life, and it helped shape the dependable character for which he was so well respected. He carried himself with quiet strength and a sense of responsibility that remained with him long after his military service ended. He found joy in the simple and meaningful pleasures of life. He loved riding motorcycles and appreciated the freedom and excitement they brought him. He enjoyed camping and the peace of being outdoors, where he could relax and take in the world around him. Muscle cars also held a special place in his heart, and he admired their power, style, and timeless appeal. At home, he loved listening to records, finding comfort and enjoyment in the music that filled his days. William’s life was one of steady devotion to the things and people he valued most. He was a hardworking man who took pride in his work, a supportive presence to his loved ones, and a friend who could be trusted in any circumstance. His loving nature and dependable character left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon (Wilson) Lockhart; son, Ray Lockhart of Springfield, Missouri; daughter, Sarah (Jason) Denney of Spokane, Washington, grandkids: Jude, Penny, Rory, and Fitz; nephew, Kyle (Kim) Swann of New York; Cousin, Cherie Hall.
