SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — WIC recipients can now access expanded benefits through the Missouri WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program (WIC FMNP).
From now through Oct. 31, 2024, members of the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) family health program can receive an additional $20 per person annually that can be used to purchase eligible foods at participating farmers markets or with authorized farmers.
Members can access the FMNP benefit by visiting a WIC location or satellite clinic and will receive a QR code to scan when purchasing from markets.
