The residents of the Lakes Region again stand up and donate to help the Children's Miracle Network.
The third annual Radiothon has raised $81,776 as of 6:00 Friday when the Radiothon officially ended. Tim Seibert, Executive Director for Children's Miracle Network, said during the check announcement at the end of the Radiothon that later donations plus the continuing fundraiser at Branson Bowling will probably move that total even higher.
This year total added to the previous two Radiothons adds up to over 243,700 raised for the hospital, now known as St. Louis Children's at Cox Health after their recent partnership. Seibert, in an earlier interview on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program said the partnership has led to the hospital gaining access to more services as well as the building of a new outpatient center near the current hospital that is part of the Cox South Complex in Springfield.
More information about donating online can be found at the CMN Radiothon Tab on this website.
Highlights of this year's Radiothon can be found on the Ozarks Dynacom Family of Radio Stations Facebook pages.
