The Taney County 100 Club holds the first in a series of appreciation dinners this past weekend.
The club, with the help of the Forsyth Chamber of Commerce and the Lake Taneycomo Elks Lodge, hosted several dozen law enforcement officers for the appreciation dinner at the Elks Lodge on Saturday. The club is planning a similar event for firefighters later this year.
The Taney County 100 Club helps families of First Responders injured and killed in the line of duty with financial aid and other assistance in the days following the loss of that family member. Many law enforcement and emergency agencies in the county along with other individuals and organizations support the club through financial and other assistance.
