On Oct. 23 Branson’s second annual Prayer March will be held.
Participants will meet at the Walmart on the Branson Strip at 12:30 p.m. near the Taco Bell entrance; the walk starts at 1:00 pm. Gena Hedgpeth is the organizer for the event. “We will travel 3 miles, stopping along the way at specific locations for pastor-led prayer and then ending at the Branson City Hall,” Hedgpeth said. Hedgpeth said 200-plus people attended last year. The Branson Prayer March is not affiliated with any political party. Hedgpeth said they are “specifically praying for personal spiritual revival as well as revival in our marriages and families, our schools and youth, our churches, our community and our country.”
