National Weather Service forecasters indicate a break in the wet weather that has been scattered throughout the Ozarks today prior to another system moving in on Tuesday.
The weekend saw several rounds of scattered showers with some areas getting several inches of rain. Flash Flood Warnings in northern Arkansas included Boone, Carroll, Madison, and Newton Counties. Flood while Flood Advisories were issued in Missouri for areas including Barry and Stone County. Flood Waters closed several highways in Barry County late Saturday night into Sunday.
Most of the rain moved out Sunday afternoon and forecasters say little to any rain is expected today with another system expected to impact the Lakes Region on Tuesday.
