While two more Lakes Region Counties in Arkansas have lifted their Bun Bans, the National Weather Service warns of an increased Fire Risk in the region.
The National Weather Service in Springfield says dry air and gusty winds will create elevated fire danger. People are encouraged to refrain from burning or any outdoor activities that involve fire and sparks.
Meanwhile, the Arkansas Forestry Division continues to have the northern part of the state at a moderate fire danger level. Both Carroll and Madison Counties have lifted their bun bans joining Boone County who had previously lifted their ban.
Temperatures are expected to begin a cool down on Wednesday with winds speeds expected to drop later in the week.
