For those that still haven't had a taste of the BBQ Chicken at the Crane Broiler Festival, there is still time to head to Stone County to take part in this year's event.
The long-running community festival celebrating the area's poultry heritage and famous barbecue chicken began on Friday and will continue through the today.
This year marks the 75th Anniversary of the event with this morning's events to include the Discover Crane Chicken Chase and the Parade along Main Street. The craft and vendor booths open at 10:00 am with the serving of BBQ Chicken Dinners beginning at 11:00 am.
Other events today include a Mule Jump, the Car Show, and Live Bluegrass and Gospel Music. The carnival rides open at 12:00 with the day long activities ending with fireworks at dusk.
