The National Weather Service has issued Cold Weather Advisories for the Lakes Region early Saturday morning.
The advisories will take effect at Midnight with the Missouri advisory in effect until 10:00 am while the advisories for Arkansas will be in effect until Noon.
Low temperatures overnight will be in single digits with wind chills between 10 and 15 below zero.
Cold temperatures will remain on Saturday with highs only in the 20s but a quick warm-up is expected with highs into the 50s by Monday.
A few snow flurries will be possible, but no other precipitation is expected.
