A program to help people with addictions is about to expand to Branson.
According to an announcement on Thursday, the CoxHealth Center for Addictions located in Springfield is adding a second campus in Branson beginning June 11.
“As the needs of our region have evolved, we have worked to expand and adapt, and add new ways to serve,” says Tressa Moyle, director of the CoxHealth CFA says in the release. “We believe that this increased access to services will help even more patients develop strategies to overcome issues related to substance use, which can have devastating impacts if left untreated.”
Medication Management for Substance Use Disorders will be the primary service provided but Cox says more service options will be added as demand increases. The announcement also states that patients of the center will initially be seen in Springfield with follow-up visits scheduled for Branson.
The new location is part of the Cox Pain and Neurology Clinic on Cahill Road.
