Traffic backs up on Highway F late Friday afternoon due to a two-vehicle crash that injures three people.
According to reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Western Taney County Fire Protection District, a pick-up truck driven by a 25-year-old man from Merriam Woods crossed the center line and collided with a SUV driven be a 63-year-old man from Rockaway Beach man.
Two Western Taney County Stations as well as Taney County Ambulance responded and had to extricate one person from the crash. Highway F was closed for around an hour while emergency personnel worked the scene.
The driver and two passengers in the pick-up sustained serious injuries and were taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
