The latest information from the U.S. Drought Monitor still shows major impacts in Arkansas while levels are on the rise again in Missouri.
This week’s map show little change in Arkansas as northwest portions of the area including Berryville and Eureka Springs are at a Moderate Level while the level goes up in the central parts of the state. Harrison and areas southeast are at an Extreme to Exceptional Level.
Meanwhile, the Missouri Lakes Region is back to an Abnormally Dry Level after many areas had been drought free over the last month.
A potential round of heavy rain is in the forecast for the Lakes Region for early next week.
